My name is Leigh Doran

I am an experienced Maine wedding photographer, having photographed over three hundred weddings since 2003.

I put you at ease in front of the camera so you recognize yourself when you look back on your wedding photographs, and remember the joy you felt. I feel like a friend, rather than a vendor. Someone who is on your team and part of your squad, looking out to ensure you get the imagery you’re going to value and want to relive, throughout the generations.

I know when to step forward and lead, offering guidance and direction, and when to step back and quietly observe the genuine emotion unfolding in front of me. I have a complete picture in my head of the wedding storyline, from beginning, middle, to end, and I’m constantly looking for the key moments throughout your day that will tell the whole story.

I work with you to identify the important places and the key relationships at your wedding in advance, so I understand your values, and know which images are going to be the most meaningful to you and your family. I like to surprise you with the unexpected images you didn’t know you wanted.
